Wells expands its mattress lineup… Bolsters competitiveness in the category with more options customers can choose from
Health and wellness appliance Wells is looking to expand its mattress lineup.
With more consumers looking to rent rather than purchase their mattresses outright, Wells hopes to bolster its competitiveness in the category with more options in its mattress lineup consumers can choose from. Wells mattresses will now come in two different types - premium and standard - and three different sizes - king, queen, super single.
Wells mattresses use independent pocket springs, each offering varying levels of tensile strength to support the user’s body seamlessly and deliver a good night’s sleep without any unnecessary wobbliness or discomfort. The upper topper section features a “memory foam” with excellent ventilation properties to help maintain the user’s body at the right temperature and humidity for sound sleep.
In particular, the premium product creates a comfortable fit that conforms to the user’s body shape with what Wells calls the “3Line 9Zone,” technology. The 3Line 9Zone technology uses 803 independent pocket springs to distribute weight across nine zones in accordance with the curvature and silhouette of the user’s body. Firmness varies to provide optimum comfort for each specific region of the body - for instance, the lumbar area feels firm, while the shoulder and hips area feels soft. Wells also found a way to minimize wobbles and to prevent the body from leaning too much to one particular side in order to help users maintain the right posture for good quality sleep. Similarly, standard type mattresses feature the “2Line 7Zone” technology.
The topper is made out of breathable memory foam that circulates air throughout the mattress with its “air cells.” These air cells also prevent the build-up of sweat or moisture, making the Wells’ standard mattresses much more hygienic. In addition to memory foam, Wells standard mattresses feature “elastic foam,” which adds elasticity to the resilience of wells mattresses. The two different types of foam work together to deliver a more balanced and stable sleeping experience. The outer cover of each Wells mattress is made with three-ply woven melange rayon knit fabric, which makes it feel silky soft and comfortable.
All Wells Mattress can be used with the “Relax Air Topper” product equipped with Wells’ famous “air massage” function. The Relax Air Topper has eight air pockets in the memory foam layer at points in the body that are prone to fatigue and tension. When activated, these air pockets can stretch out the entire body, and gently stimulate each region to alleviate fatigue and ensure good quality sleep. To cater to a wider range of mattress products, Wells also added more bed frame options to its existing lineup. Customers can now choose from four different bed frames depending on their budget or taste.
Customers who choose to rent a mattress from Wells will receive a “Deep Clean Care” service (mattress hygiene care service) every four months, and get a new replacement topper every three years (for customers signing a six-year contract) to keep their mattress always clean and as-new.
For each regular Deep Clean Care service, a home care expert - “Home Master” - will visit each home to deliver a 12-step professional care service that includes contamination level measurement, mattress inner/outer cleaning, springs cleaning, frame cleaning, and sterilization. In particular, each Home Master can help remove dust, moisture, dust mites, and other contaminants inside the pocket springs using specialized equipment right at the customer’s home to guarantee the cleanest possible sleeping environment. Also, every 12 months (from the initial rental date), customers will get a free clean cover for their mattress as part of Wells’ best-in-class care service package.
One Wells official stated, “With customers putting more emphasis on the importance of sleep, we have bolstered our ‘Wells Deep Sleep’ lineup to meet the needs of customers who are demanding high-quality sleep. We will continue to expand our product portfolio by launching new products tailored to different family members and lifestyles, which customers can choose to optimize their sleeping environment.” End of Document.
