Wells, the health and well-being appliance brand owned by the Kyowon Group, recently launched its new “Wells tt UV+,” a direct-dispenser type water purifier with reinforced water sterilizing features.

Wells tt UV+ features Wells’ patented direct water cooling and dispensing technology, which helps it cool water up to seven times faster than other direct-dispenser type water purifiers. Wells tt UV+ is also capable of dispensing three to four times more cold water without stopping to replenish its water supplier compared to competing products on the market. It offers the best cooling performance in class as well, keeping cold water 2℃ cooler than other direct-dispenser type purifiers developed by other companies.

One particular feature worth noting for Wells tt UV+ is its “Clean Sterilizing” function. This function automatically sterilizes the cock, through which purified water is dispensed, every two hours using a UV LED every day. Alternatively, the user can press the “Sterilize” button to sterilize the water dispensing cock whenever they need to.

Along with the “Clean Sterilizing” function, a dedicated “Wells Manager” visits the customer’s home/office every six months to clean and sterilize every corner of the product that comes into direct contact with water. Wells tt UV+ also features a “Safety LED Lighting” function that allows the user to check the current water temperature and the operational status of the water purifier in an easy-to-understand and intuitive way. The LED color-codes the temperature for hot water into three levels - yellow (50℃), orange (70℃), and red (85℃). Meanwhile, when it dispenses cold water or purified water, the LED turns blue or green respectively. When the sterilizing function is activated, the LED switches to a purple color.
