Wells - the comprehensive well-being and health appliances brand by Kyowon Group (CEO: Pyeong-Soon Chang) - launched its new “Relax Air Topper” designed to deliver outstanding full-body massaging effects with its air massaging function.

Relax Air Topper is the first topper product on the market to feature eight air pockets and a dual-motor system inside its memory foam layer. Together, the air pockets and dual-motor system massage the body similar to how a massaging chair can in a seated position. The eight air pockets are distributed across the length of the entire body in the neck area, both shoulders, back, hips, and calves where muscle tends to tighten up during the course of the day. The dual motors inflate each air pocket to different pressure levels and gently move the pressure points created by the pockets along the body to loosen up tense muscles and give the body a chance to relax.

The massaging feature using air pockets comes in the following modes (five total modes), enabling the user to choose the best option before or after sleeping: the “Good Night” mode that relieves stress and tension built up during the day to help the user enjoy better sleep; the “Good Morning” mode that gives you a morning call and eases up muscles/joints that may have stiffened over the night; the “Stretching Mode” that uses the air pockets to gently massage important areas such as the hips and pelvis; the “Healing Mode” that helps the body recover from fatigue with a light and refreshing massage; and “Re-sleep Mode” that helps the user go back to sleep when they wake up in the middle of their sleep.

Meanwhile, the Relax Air Topper retains all of the benefits conventional toppers offer - comfort and coziness - to help users enjoy great quality sleep. In particular, its layering system features high-density memory foam and elastic foam, both of which distribute pressure evenly along the contours of the body and support the body securely in place to create a relaxing sleeping environment.

The Relax Air Topper is exceptionally hygienic as well. It uses an anti-bacterial three-ply Tencel knitted fabric with natural eucalyptus, and “Dry Tex,” which maintains its integrity extraordinarily well even in humid environments, to keep the user’s bed pleasant throughout all four seasons of the year. Not only that, Kyowon Wells replaces the cover with a new product for free after three years under the rental plan. This can give users some peace of mind, knowing that they can use their Relax Air Topper product for a long time without any concerns of potential contamination.

In addition to the cover replacement program, Kyowon also offers its signature “Wells Deep Clean Care Service” for “Relax Air Topper” rental customers. A dedicated “Home Master,” a home care service expert from Wells, visits every four months to measure contamination levels, clean the Air Topper, mattress (inside and outside), the bed frame, and sterilize required areas using a comprehensive and professional 12-step cleaning process. The Home Master uses specialized cleaning equipment to clean dust, moisture, dust mites, and other contaminants inside the topper and mattress, which can be extremely difficult to clean with conventional cleaning equipment available at home, to keep the user’s sleeping environment cleaner than ever.

The Relax Air Topper is available in two sizes - the Super Single and Queen. Each costs KRW 37,900 and KRW 54,900 respectively when rented as stand-alone products.
